I’ve been amazingly fortunate to document the most LGBTQ+ weddings I’ve ever had in a wedding season this past year. I am extremely fortunate to have a platform via social media and internet to help bring more light to the idea that love & relationships are beautifully unique. Love cannot be put into a box. We need to evolve our ideas on what love is, and what it should be. Here is a a collection of images of beautiful gay & lesbian weddings and all celebrations under the LGBTQ+ umbrella from 2017.
2017 had me starting the year off in Europe, visiting Copenhagen & Barcelona with my best friend. I came back to Vancouver feeling refreshed, inspired and most importantly, excited to take on the new wedding season. This year I got to document the celebrations of many close friends, travel to Niagara Falls to photograph a big gay wedding, and meet some wonderful human beings along the way that are now a huge part of my life. Thank you 2017, thank you to everyone – I am grateful.
Matt & Chad’s wedding was all about being thankful. Not only was this day about them, but more importantly, it was about the significant people that surrounded them and the love and support that filled the room. Here is a small preview of their special day.
Jen & Hilary celebrated an intimate ceremony during a stormy day at Whytecliff Park. Their wedding carried forward to North Vancouver at the Beach House Restaurant. Here is a small look into their beautiful day!

Bloedel Conservatory is a magical place. Brett & Alex chose this beautiful oasis location to celebrate their wedding day with loved ones, many of whom came up from America to see them wed. Tucked away on the hill top of Queen Elizabeth Park, the Tropical destination was a gorgeous backdrop to an already beautiful evening. Congratulations boys!
