Dianna & Jon celebrated over two days this past weekend. With a beautiful ceremony at Dianna’s childhood home, they said their vows to each other, and also gave some heartfelt words to their loved ones. This was followed by an intimate dinner party through the night. The next day more guests joined them for a reception and they celebrated at the Medical Student & Alumni Centre of UBC. Izzy & Luke celebrated an intimate wedding on a beautiful farm in Aldergrove. Luke’s family hails from Wales, and they made their way over to take part in seeing these two get married. The gorgeous backdrop of land and animals made for some amazing photographs and it is one of my favourite weddings to be a part of!
Izzy & Luke celebrated with family and friends from near and far – mostly far! With Luke’s side of the family and friends hailing from Wales, it was truly special to see people coming from so far to celebrate with these two beautiful people. Here is a small preview of their day!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU so much for our wedding photos!! We received the USB & we’ve been looking at the online gallery – we love them! Thanks so much for being a part of our wedding and for making the photography an absolutely seamless process. It was so lovely to work with you and I’ve been recommending you to everybody I know who’s getting married in the next while! – Sarah & Jon Shooting an event like Sarah & Jon’s backyard wedding in Chilliwack is always a strong reminder of how lucky I am to be doing what I love, and I am truly grateful! It always amazes me how looking at certain photos takes you back in time instantly to relive moments and working on this post was no exception. As beautiful as posed portraits are, its the candid moments, and uncontrived expressions of the day that I resonate with the most. I hope you feel a sense of intimacy and familiarity while viewing my work – I want you to feel like you were there, even if you weren’t! A big thank you to Geoff Heith of Fill in the Blank Weddings for assisting me on this day and shooting some killer images, and another big thank you to […]
I had the opportunity to work closely with Jenny + Jackie before their wedding day – once during their fall portrait session (http://johnbello.ca/vancouver-wedding-photographer-fall-engagement-stanley-park/), and once more in a session under the beautiful backdrop of Vancouver’s cherry blossoms! (http://johnbello.ca/vancouver-engagement-photographer-vancouver-cherry-blossoms/) The wedding day started off with a ceremony in their family’s backyard, followed by a reception at Empire Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. These two are full of life and I am so happy to have been a part of their wedding! Thank you to Christine Williams Photography for shooting along side me! custom essay service Matt + Brittany's forest engagement was pretty awesome. When I heard that their wedding was going be an intimate occasion, DIY styled and located on a farm, I knew it would be nothing short of amazing. The setting was vast and gorgeous, the details were all carefully hand made and thought through with care and there was a pig roast! 😉 It was a short wedding day than most, but it did not take away from the gorgeousness that is Brittany + Matt. Congratulations! Special thanks goes to THE Michael Wachniak for helping me out.. and shooting 100% film that day. You's gangsta. This wedding has also been featured on Tutu & Fru! http://tutuandfru.com/love-story-brittany-matt/
