8 Years ago I travelled to Corfu, Greece to document Kristal & Makis’ big fat Greek wedding!
Looking back at these images and revisiting those very moments that solidified my love for wedding photography gets me teary eyed.
I was 25 years old then, and a completely different version of myself than I am today. It is pretty wild to think in that moment in time, I was on the verge of an amazing 8 year adventure and journey of self discovery.
Their celebration provided me with a few firsts: my first ever photography award at the 2012 BC Wedding Awards for Best Detail Photograph, my first ever feature on Junebug weddings and my first ever time participating in Greek culture and traditions.
I will be forever grateful to share in all of these moments.
